Our Mission Statement
Welcome to Branches and More aka BAM! an online gathering place for Christians struggling with their Mental Health and Faith. This is a safe space where you can find support and share your journey. At BAM, my mission is to provide compassionate, faith-based peer support to individuals facing mental health challenges. Grounded in Christian principles, I'll strive to foster a safe and nurturing environment where clients can find hope, healing, and spiritual growth. By sharing lived experiences and offering empathetic guidance, I am dedicated to empowering individuals to overcome obstacles, achieve emotional well-being, and strengthen their faith journey. Our community is here to uplift and encourage one another as we navigate the intersection of mental health with our faith. I am not however offering any kind of counselling as I am not a qualified counsellor.
My name is Rachel Cowley, I am a Peer Support Worker by training. I am looking to support you as an individual on your journey in our Faith with a Mental Health Condition. If you need Individual Support or Group Support let me know which would suite you better. Depending on whether your mental health needs are mild to moderate (I cannot accept people with mental health needs that are severe) we can work out together which would suite you best. I am an expert by experience by nature so I have experience of a mental health condition myself I have also experience of support work, and I am a born again Christian so I have some valuable input I can make into assisting you to understand your journey for yourself.
